What to consider when choosing

• Power supply - OBD and car charger are powered by the car, the magnetic locator lasts a long time on battery power without intervention.
• SIM card and network - locators and GSM bugs require a SIM card with data and a mobile signal.
• App - location and route are displayed on the mobile phone, listening is started by a call or command.

Use car listening devices legally

You may use a car listening device in your own or company vehicle to protect your property. Recording or eavesdropping on someone else's conversations without permission is against the law and may even be a criminal offense.
