• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
• Q : How is decorative wall cladding installed?
• AThis wall panel is installed by simply gluing it directly onto the prepared surface. The panels are attached using a high-quality mounting or construction adhesive. Before installation, the wall must be flat, clean, dry and free of dust. The panels can be easily cut to the required length using standard wood/plastic tools.
• Q : Can decorative wall cladding also be used on curved walls or columns?
• ANo, the PRISMO panel is strong, hard and dimensionally stable due to its composition (calcium and PVC). It cannot be bent like thin foam wallpapers. It is designed for perfectly flat surfaces, where it will create a luxurious and cohesive architectural look.
• Q : Is the wall panel difficult to maintain?
• ANot at all, decorative wall cladding is extremely easy to maintain. Unlike real wood, it does not need to be oiled, sanded or varnished. In the case of dust or dirt, the surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth or a mild detergent.
• Q : What substrate is suitable for installing these panels?
• AComposite panels can be glued to most common building surfaces such as plaster, concrete, drywall, chipboard or cement boards. The most important thing is that the substrate is cohesive, solid, dry and free of peeling paint.
• Q : What is the difference between classic wooden cladding and PVC wood decor panel PRISMO?
• AClassic solid wood cladding reacts to changes in temperature and humidity – it can crack, warp or discolour over time. This panel combines the look of wood with the durability of a composite material. It won’t warp, split or absorb moisture and is much faster and cleaner to install than traditional wooden slats.
• Q : How many panels will I need for my wall?
• AOne panel has a generous size of 2400x600 mm. Simply measure the height and width of your wall and estimate the number of panels you need accordingly. However, when planning, we always recommend ordering approximately 10% more material as a margin for cutting and edge alignment.
• Q : Is this PVC wood decor panel also suitable for the bathroom?
• ANo, we do not recommend this use due to prolonged contact with water.
• Q : Can these panels be used outdoors?
• ANo, this model is intended for indoor use only. The material is not designed for long-term exposure to direct UV radiation and extreme frost on the exterior facade. However, it will last for many years indoors without any change in appearance.
