A: Yes, fire is powerful, comparable to real fire but without the smoke and smell. It is several times more powerful than indoor bio-alcohol fireplaces.

Q: What gas to use with the firepits?
A: Ideally pure propane especially in cold weather because propane-butane tends to freeze and thus the flame gradually diminishes in cold weather. Propane also has greater purity, no odor, and even slightly greater heat value.

Q: What gas cylinder to use?
A: Commonly available gas cylinders that are used for grills or gas heaters.

Q: Can the firepits also be placed in the rain?
A: Yes, they are fully weatherproof all year round.

Q: Can the firepits be outside under the roof?
A: Yes, it can be commonly placed under wooden, textile or plastic roofs.

Q: Can they be used indoors?
A: Although they do not have any toxic fumes, they are not recommended for indoor use as they have a powerful flame which has a high oxygen consumption and so without a supply of fresh air, the oxygen would be quickly consumed.

Q: Is there any special care needed for the firepit table?

A: Fire is not harmful, the same gas is used as for grilling. However, there is a concern of grease contaminating the burner or firepit filling, so we do not recommend grilling on the fire due to the contamination of the firepit and burner.

Q: Do I need to change the firepit filling?
A: The lava rock that is included in the package will change the shape a bit while using, but it is not an extreme loss. We can consider that the fire glass chips are persistent for an extremely long period.

Q: What material are they made of?
A: Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC). This is an extremely durable and also relatively lightweight material.
