Sphero - Intelligent ball - one of the most expected gadgets in the UK in 2013. But honestly, at first sight, we were not sure what we could think about it. On the one hand, it is the ball, no buttons, no propeller. But then you move with it and Sphero will shine in your hand. So put him on the ground and this strange little glowing thing becomes a impressive robot.
It uses rocket science, technology developed by NASA during one of the many Apollo missions - probably one of the more successful - this is one clever little ball. And by the way, we're not sure if you have heard about it, but President Obama is a huge fan of Sphero and we should listen to a good presidential advice.
Sphere works with iOS and as well with Android system using Bluetooth in range up to excellent 150 meters. At disposal are six official apps, and more are on the net, plus all the clever guys can code their own games, which means that the fun has just begun.
