Random or Shuffle mode

How good is the mode I am asking about? My current transmitter isn't doing a squat about "random" playing. It seems my current transmitter is just about playing some songs and then repeating them. I am using a 2GB card with 183 mp3s (5 files). How is this 15-015 do for shuffling/random?
